Project description:
May 2015 was the start date for regular operation of one of the largest and most modern water parks in Europe. The water park called “AQUACOLORS” was built by SIGNUM, a Czech contractor firm.As the name AQUACOLORS indicates, special focus was put on the colour design of the park, its attractions and various colour effects.
The water park prides itself on twelve tube slides and open water slides from big family ones to kid slides as well as breath-taking slides for adrenaline fans. A unique feature, above all, is the Magicone, but also the other attractions such as Looping Rockets, Multislide, Free Fall, Uphill Navigatour, Black Hole, Rafting Slide, Turbolance, etc.
The slides have a length varying from 100m to 200m. Half of them offer riding on rafts. There is also a 3-metre wide lazy river running in numerous meanders throughout the park in a total length of 500 metres.
The central part is dominated by large wavepool spreading over an area of 2 700 m2.
The capacity of the water park with a total area of 7.5 hectares is up to 5000 visitors per day. Besides water fun features, they can find here enough opportunities for relaxation and leisure activities. The water park uses state-of-the-art technologies with water circulation in a completely enclosed system, in which the water is treated and its reuse rate is more than 95 percent.
